Bruker is one of the world's largest and most versatile manufacturers of research and measurement equipment. The company was founded in 1960 in Karlsruhe as Bruker-Physik AG and initially operated in the field of NMR spectrometry. The following years saw a strong expansion of the company into global markets and a huge expansion of the product offer. Currently, Bruker employs over 6,000 people and supplies a wide range of equipment for testing the chemical and phase composition of materials, for imaging living tissues, and for analyzing surface topography and morphology. From Bruker's huge portfolio, Labsoft offers AFM/SPM microscopes, LSFM light sheet microscopes, optical and contact profilometers, XRD and SC-XRD diffractometers, and XRF spectrometers. The flagship products include: AFM Dimension Fastscan and NanoWizard Ultra Speed and LSFM MuVi microscopes, Contour and Dektak profilometers, D8 ADVANCE diffractometer, D6 PHASER and S8 TIGER spectrometer. EDAX Int. has been setting the directions of development and standards for X-ray microanalysis of chemical composition and phase analysis based on backscattered electron diffraction (EBSD) for many years. The company was founded in 1962, originally under the name Nuclear Diodes, and since 2001 it has been part of AMETEK Inc. The company developed the first EDS detector to work with electron microscopes in 1969, which proves its vast experience and know-how in the field of X-ray detection and analysis. It was also the first to introduce a fully automated EBSD system to the market. EDAX currently offers EDS detectors for SEM and TEM microscopes as well as WDS and EBSD detectors for SEM microscopes together with rich software enabling standard and non-standard quantitative analysis. The flagship products of the company are the EDS SDD Octane detectors, the WDS TEXS detector, the ultra-fast EBSD Velocity detector with a CMOS camera, and the Tridient system combining all these detectors.

SENTECH Instruments GmbH produces high-end devices for optical thin-film measurements and systems for reactive ion etching and thin-film deposition. This German company was founded in 1990 and since then it has been constantly developing its offer and expanding the possibilities of its products. SENTECH offers: laser and spectral ellipsometers, spectral reflectometers and systems for reactive ion etching of surfaces (RIE) and for deposition of thin films using (PE)CVD and ALD methods. Veeco is a leading manufacturer and supplier of equipment for technological processes related to the production, etching and modification of thin films. The company was founded in 1945 in New York, its name comes from the Vacuum Electronics Engineering Company. Starting from 1990, a new profile of activity has been implemented related to the supply of equipment for surface technology and support for innovative technologies. Gatan is a company with great traditions, which has been recognized on the market as a leader in technology and a guarantee of quality for over 50 years. Its products, devices and software extend the possibilities of electron microscopes, facilitate their use and integrate various techniques. Importantly, they are compatible with electron microscopes of all manufacturers. In 2006, Gatan became part of Roper Technologies, and from 2019 it belongs to AMETEK Inc. The company's driving force is the motto "you can always see more". Its portfolio includes products for sample preparation, TEM holders, TEM cameras, image filters and EELS spectrometers, image detectors and CL systems. The most famous are the Continuum GIF image filter, the K3 direct detection camera, the DigiScan scan generator, the PIPS ion thinner and the Monarc chip for CL. The Elsa cryogenic holder, the successor to the famous 626, and the Digital Micrograph software, which has become a standard in TEM, should not be missed here either. Gatan products will find many applications in any laboratory equipped with an electron microscope.

Physical Electronics (PHI) is a leading manufacturer of XPS/ESCA, AES and SIMS spectrometers for surface chemistry analysis. The company was founded in 1969 as a spin-off from the University of Minnesota when it began manufacturing the first commercial Auger spectrometers. Since 2003, PHI has been a subsidiary of ULVAC Inc., a well-known supplier of vacuum fittings. Spectrometers of this company are distinguished by high sensitivity and resolution of analyzers, a wide selection of ion cannons for etching and cleaning, a high degree of automation and the possibility of integrating many research techniques. In addition, they are known for very good performance on difficult samples, ion beam sensitive and topographical. Safematic GmbH is a small Swiss company founded in 2010 and headquartered in Zizers (Graubünden). Not only Swiss precision and reliability, but also the location in the Rhine Valley, known for its innovative vacuum technologies as Vacuum Valley, oblige every company producing vacuum equipment to the highest quality. Safematic manufactures vacuum sputtering machines for applications mainly in SEM preparation with thermal sputtering of carbon and deposition of metallic layers using ion sputtering. RMC is a line of well-known products for the preparation of samples for electron microscopy, mainly biological, but also "soft" samples in the field of materials science. How refined these products are is evidenced by their history, which dates back to 1953, when the Sorvall company developed the first commercially available ulltramicrotome MT-1. This technology was successively taken over and developed by DuPont (1974), RMC (1985), and since 2000 it has been under the wing of Boeckeler Instruments. The latter is an excellent place for these products, as it has extensive experience in the production of precision mechanical devices. Already at the time of its foundation in 1942, the company produced micrometer screws, which are still among the most accurate in the world today, and in the 1960s introduced digital readout to its products. The flagship products of the RMC Boeckeler line include the next generation of PowerTome ultramicrotomes with cryogenic equipment, the ATUMtome instrument for serial collection of sections, rotary microtomes (also cryogenic), mesh stainers and tissue processors.

DENSsolutions is an innovative company founded in 2012 in Delft, the Netherlands, whose technological solutions enable conducting in situ experiments in a transmission electron microscope. Thanks to them, you can subject the sample to temperature, voltage, gases and liquids, change their intensity and type, observing the response of the sample in real time. The TEM microscope is no longer just a static imaging device, but becomes a sample dynamic imaging tool. Most importantly, such dynamic observations of changes in structure and chemical composition can be carried out in small sample regions and even with atomic resolution. This significant extension of possibilities is non-invasive for the TEM microscope, as it is implemented by the so-called holder in situ with a special sample carrier made in MEMS technology. The carrier contains the appropriate electrodes, gas and liquid connections and elements ensuring tightness. DENSsolutions is known for its comprehensive approach, hardware and software support the user throughout the entire measurement process. Currently, the company offers Wildfire heating holders, Lightning polarizing holders, Climate gas holders and Stream liquid holders. Each TEM laboratory will find a number of applications for them.

Kleindiek Nanotechnik GmbH is a well-known supplier of precision mechanics for positioning objects with micro- and nanometer accuracy. This German company has existed since 1997 and has sold almost 3,000 devices during this time. Kleindiek offers SEM and DualBeam compatible micromanipulators and multi-degree-of-freedom microstages for high maneuverability and high motion resolution. The main applications are electrical measurements, transferring FIB lamellae from the sample to the grids, manipulation of nano-objects on the surface, injection of active substances into precisely defined areas of the sample and making nanocavities. SPI Supplies is a division of the American company Structure Probe Inc. founded in 1975. It is one of the largest suppliers of accessories, instruments and consumables and consumables required for everyday work using light, electron, DualBeam and atomic force microscopes. SPI Supplies also offers a wide range of standards for TEM and SEM calibration as well as standard sets for EDS and WDS spectrometry. In addition, a whole range of devices, instruments, components and materials related to preparation, purification, mounting and storage of samples are available. Due to its many years of experience, the company is happy to support its customers with information on the selection of the most appropriate materials and techniques.

SIOS Meßtechnik GmbH is a German company existing since 1991, which specializes in the development and production of precise instruments for measuring displacements, angles and quantities characterizing vibrating motion using laser interferometry. The measurement is non-contact, and the use of He-Ne lasers with wavelength stabilization ensures a very high measurement resolution. From the obtained measurement data, other quantities can be calculated, e.g. mass, force and speed. The company offers independent miniature vibrometers and interferometers that can be used by buyers to construct other devices. In addition, dedicated instruments, vibrating motion nanoanalyzers and nanopositioning platforms are available. SIOS also sells stabilized He-Ne lasers.

EBS is a German company based in Heusenstamm offering reliable multimedia training systems based on hardware solutions that enable the display and sharing of multimedia content within a large group of users. These systems are mainly used in conference and lecture halls, where by improving the attractiveness of the message, e.g. by adding images from research and laboratory equipment, they increase the effectiveness of content reception by listeners and the level of student education. The company was founded in 1984 as alpha Computer Service GmbH and installed its first alphadidact training system just one year later. In 1991, to emphasize the real profile of the company, its name was changed to EBS Euchner Büro- und Schulsysteme GmbH. EBS products, constantly developed and updated with new technologies, alphadidact® Digital and videodidact® systems, have found customers among many well-known universities, banks, corporations, civil services and (non)governmental organizations.

CS Clean Solutions is a highly specialized company from Germany providing solutions for the neutralization of exhaust process gases by chemisorption methods. Many years of experience and many patented granules mean that CS Clean columns are used in the largest semiconductor production plants and in many R&D laboratories experimenting with various gases and processes. As an exclusive distributor, we also run a center for the regeneration of granules in overworked columns in Poland.
